Welcome to Anne Frank P.S.! At AFPS, we will continue to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the York Region District School Board (YRDSB) and honour the memory and legacy of Anne Frank.
Did you know that there are 267 schools in the world named after Anne Frank, but we are the only Canadian school? We strive to uphold the values and themes that our namesake was known for, such as compassion, optimism, and understanding. Our staff and students aim to act in the spirit of Anne’s ideals. We aim to build a community that interacts with each other on a basis of equality and justice, and show mutual respect and will continue to spread Anne’s thoughts in and around the school.
At Anne Frank PS, in alignment with the Multi-Year Strategic Plan, we continue to centre student achievement and success, and our School Improvement Plan highlights the areas of: Health and Well-being, Human Rights and Inclusive Education, and Student Achievement,
We look forward to continuing our learning, with Anne Frank students, staff, families and community members.
